The new Co-Operative Group distribution centre in Scotland has welcomed Chandler Sports to perform an annual service for their gym member’s. Brian Madden facilities manager and Kurt Verhoeven from Chandler Sports discussed the issues that currently exist to improve the safety and it’s maintenance of their fitness equipment. The Co-operative Group is a British consumer cooperative with a diverse range of retail businesses. It is co-operatively run and owned by its members.
It is the largest organisation of this type in the UK, with 8 million members, who have a say in how the business is run and how its social goals are achieved. The group comprises a family of businesses, including: Food, Financial Services, Funeral care, Legal Services and On-line Electrical’s. The organisation is widely known as the Co-op.
