Vibration Plate – what is it all about?

We have recently added to our stock of products a few vibration plates, which are available to hire or buy, but we think they do not get the attention they deserve. This is mostly because most people do not know how to use them or what they are for. Hopefully this brief introduction will give you an idea of why the vibration plate is a good new product to help you shed weight and tone up.

What is a Vibration Plate?

The vibration plate is a piece of exercise equipment that provides an unstable work surface. This requires the exerciser to engage the muscles of the core, and increase strength and muscle tone. 

It gives your body’s muscles a high-speed workout by using vibrations to stimulate them to contract and relax. They generally contract once or twice a second, but by standing on it, its vibrations cause an automatic reflex muscle contraction of 30-50 a second.

How to use it?

The answer to this is very simple: you use it by performing your exercises on top of the vibration plate. This piece of equipment was designed not to create new exercises, but to enhance the ones that you already do.
