Rowing Machine Hiring for just £15 per week!

While our other cardio equipment seems to be quite popular, rowing machine hiring doesn’t seem to get as much love as, say, the cross trainers and treadmills. The rowing machine is just as good as any of these, and, depending on your needs and preferences, can be even better than them.

Why you should choose a rowing machine?

Studies show that using a rowing machine for a cardio workout can burn 50% more calories that the crosstrainer, while strengthening nearly all the muscles from your shoulders to your calves. It also also much gentler on your knees than the treadmill.

The best way to use it

A common-made mistake when using cardio equipment is that you should use it for long periods of time. This often means a constant, low-intensity pace, which is not the best way to burn fat, at all. What you should be doing is high intensity intervals. This translates into breaking your workout into intervals of different intensities, and even a few rest ones. Using this method, you only need to do 20 minute workouts.

Exemplified bellow is a good, fat burning rowing workout.

One of the machines we have available to hire, and buy, is the i. Aquo Dual by BH Fitness. This is a great choice for someone with space issues, as it folds and unfolds without problems and has wheels that make it easy to move it from place to place. It also comes with all the functions you will need: heart rate control, calories burnt tracking, strokes counting, and many more.
