Owner Alan and James needed 650 black rubber titles and an 11m x 2.2m astro turf strip to be their foundation of their new functional training facility.
The guys knew exactly what they wanted as if they’ve done this sort of thing before. It wasn’t until the weight rooms was completed that the astro turf became into light. Applying rubber tiles around the sides of the astro turf meant that there would be a clean row of uncut titles. Working back interlocking the rubber tiles to the remaining weights room titles were aligned exactly.
Now that the rubber floor tiles were laid out in the functional training room, we knew exactly the area in which the astro turf covered. With concrete primer set and then the apply of adhesive the astro turf is then laid out.
The weights room seen below is finished and ready to be used – well with a few tiles left behind which were cleared.
Alan and James are now waiting for the new equipment to arrive which Chandler sports will installing later in April 2017.
