BH Fitness YV30R Vibroboost Commercial Vibration Plate – Continued

Commercial Vibration Plate

This week I’ve continued to use the Vibroboost Commercial Vibration Plate by BH Fitness. I wanted to give this a real shot as there are many things that can be done on this. I’ve tried a number of positions to get the best work out for each muscle group. Turns out I have each and every muscle group! Who knew!!

The first, and probably the easiest.

The Calf Raise:

Stand with your feet shoulder wide apart on the commercial vibration plate platform and place your hands onto the handlebar.

Lift your heels off the platform and tighten your calf muscles.

Hold for 10 seconds, then return to the start position.

Repeat six times.

This works calf, thigh and bum, some of the lower back and the core. (And can be done while holding a glass of wine).

The Jack Knife:

Sit on the commercial vibration plate platform with your back towards the column.

Place your hands behind you on the platform for extra stability.

Lean slightly back without touching the column.

Now engage your abdominals and pull both legs up and towards you. Hold them slightly in front of you for the duration of the time settings.

Alternatively you can do repetitions of ‘pulling knees in / extending legs away’ from you for a more dynamic workout.

This works the Abdominal muscles, core, upper thigh and lower back, and some I didn’t even know I had. (Cannot be done while hold holding a glass of wine!)

The Bridge:

Lie on a mat in front of the commercial vibration plate platform.

Place your feet flat on the platform and your arms on the floor next to your body.

Now lift your hips off the floor until your body forms one line from knees to shoulders and hold for the duration of the interval.

Keep your feet flat on the platform.

Slowly lower yourself back to the floor.

This works the Calf, Upper Thigh, Abdominal muscles, Core and lower back. (Glass of wine must have a long straw)

Hip Flexor / Quad Stretch

Put an exercise mat on top of the commercial vibration plate platform.

Place your right knee on top and your left foot onto the floor.

Be sure to remain upright.

Now gently push your right hip forward and hold.

You will feel a stretch across the front of your right leg (quadriceps) and across your right hip (hip flexor)

If possible hold this stretch for 30 seconds.

Not sure what this works, but you have to try it!

There are many more that can be done on the Vibroboost commercial Vibration Plate and I would recommend you give them a go. If you work out in a gym gird up your confidence as you may feel a bit of an eejit in some of the positions, but they do work! I can now feel all my muscles! 10/10 for this excellent bit of kit!

Next week, Bingo Wings!!
