Home Use 100 ml Treadmill Lubrication Pack

Re-lubricating your belt – Although the majority of treadmills come with their running belts pre-lubricated it is best practice to do this approximately once every four weeks depending on how often you use your machine and what intensity it undergoes. If you’re running lengthy training sessions and are over average weight, more frequent lubrication and maintenance would be prudent.

Do I need to re-lubricate? In short yes, treadmill lubrication reduces friction between the running belt and the deck. This in itself helps to increase the longevity of your belt and deck but it also helps to reduce wear and tear on other components in your machine. If friction increases then this has a knock on effect of creating your motor to work harder for the same result, this also increases wear of the drive belt which feeds between the motor and the front roller.
